EMAIL SETUP WITH ENTOURAGE

1. Entourage press “Account Settings”

2. Press New. If a drop down box appears select “Mail…”.

3. If the “Account Setup Assistant” window comes up, press “Configure Account Manually”, otherwise select “POP” as your “Account Type”.

4. Setup your account with following information:
Account name: Type any name for your account
Name: Your own name (for when you send emails)
E-mail address: your email address hosted with Retrix (e.g. Jamie@mydomain.com)
Account id: your email address again
POP server: your account name .retrix.net (e.g. jamie.retrix.net)
Password: your email password
SMTP server: same as POP server (e.g. jamie.retrix.net)

5. Still in the same window press “Click here for advanced sending options”.
Check and set “Override default SMTP port:” to 587.
Check and set “SMTP server requires authentication” to “Use same settings as receiving mail server”

6. Done, enjoy!
